Deep Tarot Reading

The Deep Tarot Reading provides an in-depth view into a complex issue, using between 10 and 12 Tarot cards. This is perfect for exploring multiple options, and seeking direction in a relationship, career or life in general. A Deep Tarot Reading can also answer multiple questions on different topics, such as “Where is my love life, career and home life heading?”
I recommend asking 2-3 questions for this type of Tarot reading.
Deep Tarot Readings are usually around 1,800 to 2,000 words long.
Your investment in a Deep Tarot Reading is $197.

A ‘Real Life’ Example of a Deep Tarot Reading
Kelly (not her real name, to protect her identity) wrote to me asking, “I’d like to ask for a reading about my future perspectives in career and general life direction. I am thinking about saving some money and emigrating, wondering what’s in the cards for my future career/emigration plans, would an emigration plan be successful or is it looking like I’d find more success and fulfilment in my home country.”
(Note: The following reading includes 9 cards, whereas a typical Deep Tarot Reading will include 10-12 cards in total.)
Here’s how the Tarot reading transpired…
Dear Kelly,
For this reading, you have asked about your career, general life direction and your living arrangements. I concentrated carefully on your question while shuffling the Tarot cards for you. I then laid the cards out and this is what they told me.
- What you aspire to – Lovers
- What will help you get there – Page of Cups reversed
- What may stand in the way – Ace of Wands
- Where is your career heading – Emperor
- \What do you need to do to maximise your career – Nine of Cups
- What are the future prospects for emigrating – Two of Wands reversed
- What do you need to do to emigrate successfully – Ace of Cups reversed
- What role will your love life play in your emigration – Queen of Swords reversed
- Overall, where are you headed in the next 3-6 months – Seven of Cups reversed

Ahh, the Lovers. What a wonderful way to start the reading! The Lovers indicates that you want to live a full and authentic life. You want to stay true to your values and your morals, and you want to be able to love yourself fully and be good to yourself. You seek a deeper connection not only with yourself but also the Universe around you – people, nature, animals, the general ‘energy’ or buzz around you. You feel there is much to be gained by understanding others with deep compassion and empathy and you will have much to learn from these experiences. I also feel that you desire a deep and meaningful relationship with someone. You feel like it is your time to find a life partner, a soul mate, and you are opening yourself up to that possibility.
The Lovers also represents choices on a grand scale. You can sense that a dilemma will be presented demanding an action or decision, and you want to decipher the best way to proceed or make the right choice. Something is going to change your plans or the course of your experience, something that may look negative on the surface but will later prove to be a blessing in disguise. Think about what decisions and choices you are facing. The fact that the Lovers is a Major Arcana card indicates that these decisions or choices are incredibly important and significant so it is essential that you choose the right path. There may be an easy option available but you will need to ask yourself whether this is the right path for you in the long run. Oftentimes, it is the more difficult path that will bring you the greatest benefit, particularly on a deeper level.
The Page of Cups reversed suggests that you need to decline any current invitations or offers and focus on something new. Given the previous reading, I see this as a sign that you would be better off letting go of that guy who is unavailable to you. This really reflects an emotional connection or invitation for a relationship that you know would not be good for you in the long term. If you do truly seek a committed and loving relationship, then it needs to be with someone who is willing and able to give you the same.
Ahh, our old friend, the Ace of Wands! Now, although this card appears as what may stand in the way, I can’t help but feel that this is still an opportunity for you to make a new beginning and a new start. Something is definitely building and soon you will have an opportunity to make a romantic connection. Perhaps the reason why this card appears as a challenge is that you will have to make some sacrifices in order to follow a romantic interest. So, one golden opportunity will come up but it will require you to make a significant choice based on what is most important to you. It is a bit of a double-edged sword and you may be forced to choose (this is another side of the Lovers, also).
The two cards around your career actually look quite positive. I know you said that you’re not particularly excited about the pay, but the opportunity itself is strong. The Emperor suggests that you will continue to play an important role in the organisation and you may be promoted again soon to a role with more accountability and leadership. The Emperor is a very reliable, dependable character who has used his knowledge and experience to move up in the organisation. He often appears when you are about to enter a management position or you are part of a very traditional but reliable organisation. Perhaps the company you are working for is a very solid company, with a long history and strong financial results. If you stick at it, you will be well rewarded here with loyalty and promotion.
The Nine of Cups serves as a reminder to be grateful for what you do have in this current job. While the pay may not be so great, acknowledge that at least part of your career wish has come true and you are now in a more rewarding job. Be satisfied with what you have, rather than necessarily desiring something you don’t have. If pay is an issue, then perhaps you need to put yourself out there and ask for a pay rise? If you do get an opportunity for a promotion or an expansion of your current role, this may be a good time to ask for more salary.
So, career wise, things are looking good!
Emigration, on the other hand, not so good I’m afraid. The reversed Two of Wands suggests that while you may have your sights set on moving to another country, particularly one that requires overseas travel, there will be many delays and obstacles to your plans. You certainly have the desire to move, but I feel that many things will come in the way and you won’t be able to emigrate in the next 6 months or so at least. The timing just isn’t right, and by the looks of the next couple of cards, you may find yourself wrapped up in a new relationship that entices you to stay in your home country.
The Ace of Cups reversed suggests that if you really wanted to emigrate, you would need to shut off your emotions and decline any possibility of a new relationship. I get the feeling that something is brewing around your relationships and you will soon find someone who makes you very happy and in love. However, this is going to get in the way of your plans to leave the country again and you will need to make an important decision based on your priorities.
The reversed Queen of Swords shows you thinking with your heart and not your head in this situation. I see this as a clear sign that you will let love take precedence over your desire to move out of your home country again. It may not necessarily be the best decision for emigration, but given your goals are to create a deep and meaningful relationship, then perhaps this is for the best. What’s more is that your career in Russia will do very well, I believe, so you may have other factors that are also enticing you to stay in your home country rather than emigrate.
Finally, with the Seven of Cups reversed, the next few months are going to be about choices! You may feel overwhelmed with the various choices that come up but you will be forced to make some trade-offs along the way. You have many goals and dreams about what you would like in your life, but you are going to have to choose which goals will take precedence. Given this card is reversed, you may have some confusion about which opportunities to pursue, and which to let go, but if we go back to the Lovers, you need to select the opportunities that are closest to your personal values and priorities. So, given it is the new year very soon, you might like to think more deeply about what your priorities are and where you would be willing to compromise or make trade-offs. This may help you to prepare for the choices that are coming your way and will help to make those choices a bit easier.

Kelly’s Feedback
Dear Brigit,
Thank you for the reading, as ever – mega-insightful, made me think a lot. What you have said about my workplace is true – it is a solid American company with a long history and sound financial results
Salary-wise, my salary is twice the average salary in my home country, but a little lower than what I used to get in the UK for the same type of work. The economic situation here is not so good, still, I should be grateful for what I have, it’s true.
The low likelihood of a move to another country in the near future is spot on, I reckon it will take at least a year to get the action plan, finances and the visa sorted.
As for the Lovers representing a choice – I find it interesting that you have brought up the matter of an easy and a difficult choices – the easy one is definitely to stay here and build my life here, the more difficult one is to gamble everything on another move and live the life of an immigrant, once again… I will have to wait and see.
Thank you so much for your time!
Best wishes,
Kelly
