Just thought I’d share an interesting card combination I had for a career reading, that I took to be positive (hope I was right, as it is about the future employment!). It’s Knight of Pentacles together with King of Pentacles. I interpreted that even though this employment is coming slowly I will get the job.
Just wanted to share :)

Hi Shilpi,
A great Tarot spread for your career direction is my Career Direction Spread. However, I am not currently taking readings but plan to be back online in August.
Thanks, My Tarot Club

Hey, I just did a tarot spread after asking that if I get my Ph.D at a certain university, could I get a job as a university lecturer in a certain country I’m thinking about living in, and the final outcome was the death card. I know that the death card isn’t always bad, but it has so many interpretations that I’m not sure what to think of that! What could it mean?

Hi Kaya,
The Death card, to me, is a great sign of major change, with an underlying theme of having to leave something behind in the past. This seems very aligned to your goal of moving country to be a lecturer, so this is very positive indeed!

hello Brigit,

I did 3 card reading asking if an old employer will rehire me – in the order I got the 9 of swords(past), queen of coins (present), and Two of cups (future) What does this mean?

The Two of Cups is a very positive sign for a new employment relationship. I emphasise NEW though… it would have to be very different with your old employer, or you might land a completely new job elsewhere.

I used the cards to find out what was going to happen with my husband and his work place. It came up with chariot, 5 swords, devil and queen of cups and queen of penticles. I don’t think that is a good sign is it? thank you!

Hi Irene. I don’t think it is either good nor bad… Sounds like there is quite a lot of competition and conflict, possibly with women involved given the two Queens. However those two Queens can be very positive forces. The Devil reflects temptation to short-term satisfaction, but if you can draw on the determination and willpower of the Chariot, your husband can accomplish his goals and overcome that temptation.

wow i never thought two of cups could be interpreted so intuitively in business/career subject.

Hi My Tarot Club,

I had a question regarding the six of swords and seeking change in employment. I know usually this card has a neg
ative connotation, but when one is seeking a change, can we interpret it as a positive sign? Thanks.

Hi Bobby. I would see the Six of Swords as a bit of a double-edged sword when it comes to career. Perhaps you know you want to change jobs, but you fear that you will miss your colleagues. Or you have been offered an overseas post but will have to leave behind your beloved home life. There’s something drawing you towards that change, but also something that you will miss or have to leave behind.

Hi Dave,
The Queen of Swords bodes well for your career as a doctor. She is highly intelligent and uses her objectivity to cut to the chase. Even though she is a feminine figure, she can easily represent yourself. The only advice is to balance out the intellect with the heart, to maintain some bedside manner along with your sharp intellect.

Wow! I drew “the world” card for my career in medicine question. Curious what field of medicine should I be specialized in? thanks.

Brigit February 27, 2013 at 2:31 pm

Infectious diseases? Don’t ask me why but that was the first thing that popped into my mind. Perhaps with the global feel to the World.

You might also want to keep your options open and adopt more of a GP role, encompassing everything.

Hi! I am new to the world of the Tarot and wanted to share my experience with you! One day out of simple curiosity I visited a site and received intense readings from experienced psychics. It has since opened up a new avenue of spiritual growth for me and I am so excited! My reading was about the career I am meant to do and I have since been seeing numerous signs pointing towards it! I have since bought my own tarot cards and did my own career readings and so far I have seen 9 out of the top 10 cards you have listed here for a successful career! I think that is simply amazing and I really wanted to share it with you.

Thank you for all of your blogs. You have been helping me immensely as a beginner attempting to read the tarot. =0)

Hi all
I have for a job and drew: page of coins (past), 3 swords (present), 10 coins (future). I also drew a final out come card; knight of coins. I have slightly mixed views about the job but it pays really well. But it is in an environment which I feel I could progress onto different things. Also i’m in the middle of a p/t time counselling course which I might have to give up if I am offered the job. The other ending maybe that I recently discovered my partner has been cheating agaig and I see the job as a way to look after myself when I do eventually end the relationship

what do you thing
Deb..
