Thank you for this opportunity Though I was a little baffled when a lot of my cards came out reversed. I think I understand that some good things are coming but things around them and around me need to be addressed.

I got the 9 of cups reversed
I interpret as things are definitely on the up for me, and that it means I have to be actively pursuing them too.
What gift does the universe have for you?
I got 7 of wands upright
I interpret as a challenge I will be given that will help me grow and develop.
What gift can you share with the world?
I got The Queen of Pentacles Reversed
I interpret this as a shift and a chop and change around of some responsibilities. To share responsibilities that will free me up to share more time and energy with others.
What gift can you share with yourself?
I got Death Reversed.
Now I do see this as a new things ahead for me, but the gift I can share myself is courage and confidence to move and do new things.
What new life is being born in your world?
I got the Eight of Pentacles Reversed.
I interpret this in the way of I have continually been trying to do the same thing better and better instead of daring to move into new things. Possibly moving into more spiritual than physical things. I do feel on this that the spiritual has a practical aspect to it too here.
What gives you renewed hope and faith as you enter the new year?
I got the Ten of Cups Reversed
An attitude of gratitude and respect. A time to take stock of all I have, not just to be thankful here, but to protect it too!
How can you spread the love with your loved ones?
I got the Queen of Swords Reversed.
I have and give a straight forward and honest relationship. Upfront and straight. I give honesty which is something people can trust. So when they are loved by me it is , it just is, no hidden agenda, no hassle, or I would say. Hope that makes me an approachable person.
I really like interpreting reversed Tarot cards as a sign of internal energy, rather than something negative. It’s like a private or internal expression of that energy, whereas an upright card is the outward expression.
So the Nine of Cups reversed may be a sign that your shining star is getting clear on what makes you truly happy and content. And the reversed Queen of Pentacles may be a sign that the gift you can share with others is your personal strategy for managing a happy home with your work commitments, for example.
These aren’t intended to replace what you sensed in your own reading – just use these interpretations to help explore new possibilities within the cards.

2. Gift from the universe: VII of Pentacles- My hard work has paid off. (Good, 2013 has been a struggle).

So excited to do it – but firstly i did one for my husband, and, yes, I agree with the other reader – what do you do when a card turns up that is apparently negative?! IX The Hermit. Insight and a sense of calmness

XIV Temperance. To have a balance between heart and mind and to feed them both equally and to mix the two.
What new life is being born in your world?
XVIII. Things will come to light and make itself known. With this new insight I will start a new journey to a higher place.
Side note: I have been getting this card a lot for the last 6 months, i.e. every 3rd spread or so.

-I’ve gone through a extremely difficult year and managed to come out unscathed. This has made me realize that I’m stronger than I think I am and given me a “just go for it” attitude.
What gift does the Universe have for you?
-For this I got the five of pentacles. I don’t look at this as a bad thing though, I’ve learned this year more than anything to be grateful and shown me how rich in love I really am.
What gift can you share with the world?
-I think I’m full of ideas and I’m ready to get the ball rolling. I’m motivated and I want to complete all my goals. I see what I need to improve myself and I’m ready to do it. 2014 isn’t even ready for me!

My spread started out being slightly confusing( would welcome suggestions) but then becomes fairly clear
What is your ‘star’ (your blessing) that shines brightly? The High Priest (my only major arcana card)- I like telling stories about mythology so maybe it indicates that. But it could also indicate bringing people and things together in a logical way, tradition, marriage.
What gift does the Universe have for you? 4 of wands – a happy, safe home
What gift can you share with the world? 7 of pentacles – a reward for hard work and perseverance that will benefit the world. Rather like taking care of a tree that will give fruit and shade to other people as it grows
What gift can you share with yourself? 3 of swords reversed – forgiveness, empathy and peace for myself after a painful period last year
What new life is being born in your world? Ace of cups – creativity, emotions, love, a birth of a new life
What gives you renewed hope and faith as you enter the new year? – 7 of cups- many choices, dreams and hopes

Beautiful! I have no idea what it means in English but I LOVE that you have used this Tarot spread for your daughter.
It never ceases to amaze me how timely some of your posts are, Brigit! At the time this came up, I wasn’t exactly in the mood, to say the least, but today I decided to open up, go ahead and do it. Here’s what my cards shared with me:
1. What is your star that shines brightly? = Eight of Pentacles. Determination and a willingness to work on myself. A kind of ‘sheer grit’.
2. What gift does the Universe have for me? = The Lovers reversed. I have a inner reservoir of self-love and self-respect that I should tap into much more often.
3. What gift can you share with the world? = The Fool. A lot of potential and creativity, and the best thing I can do is to unleash it and no longer deny it.
4. What gift can you share with yourself? = The Chariot reversed. To regain the control I’ve given away over the years, but at the same time, to worry less and let go of certain things.
5. What new life is being born into your world? = King of Swords reversed. My first thought was to think negative, but I felt that the surrounding cards wanted me to take it as internal. Then I got the message: “Make sure you clarify EXACTLY what you want before you go chasing after it.”
6. What gives you renewed hope and faith as you enter the new year? = Eight of Swords reversed. Renewed hope and faith, apparently! LOL
7. How can you spread the love with your loved ones? = Six of Swords. The situation I had in mind when I performed the spread heavily involves my family, and I thought I had to just dig in and try harder, but the Six of Swords is advising the exact opposite: to detach. I can only do what the other cards are asking of me if I let go of some toxic bonds and baggage.
Since I also like looking at overall patterns, I couldn’t help but notice that the numbers 6 and 8 came up twice (Lovers/Six of Swords and Eight of Pentacles/Swords, respectively). It’s my personal take on it, but 6 refers to family and sacrifice. However, compared visually with the number 8, it seems off-balance. The 8, on the other hand, is about personal power and balance. It’s time to swing from one to the other, which reinforces the messages of those particular cards. What also made me smile is that I got eight ‘stars’ in the position that asked about stars! (I arranged the cards in the shape of a Christmas tree: one at the top, then a row of two, then a row of three, then the last card as a ‘tree stump’.)
Also, the majority of the cards were Swords, and almost half were Major Arcana, meaning that not only is it time to draw upon my inner/mental self, but that this was a long time coming and that it’s a now-or-never situation. There’s also a lot of movement: the Chariot, the boat in the Six of Swords, the Fool walking. Even the woman in the Eight of Swords is slipping out of her bonds. Travel, going forward, perhaps? I really hope so.
The last thing I wanted to say is that this is the first Tarot reading I’ve done in months, and the mere fact that I feel a lot better served to remind me of the gifts the cards and the Universe can bring. Thank you, Brigit!

Three of Fire
Wow!! Can’t believe this!! The card says that I have achieved good things with my career, and that I should pat myself on the back, but keep looking for new opportunities to promote my work and talents. And oh, yes; patience and long-time planning!! I KNOW – but sooo hard for me to have and do!!
Again – this makes me SO happy! But still hard to believe! I have been on a sickleave for two years now (after having achieved success as a composer/producer), but about the same time as I got sick, I started making magical oils that all on their own started selling as people started asking me to buy them. But I have doubted it anyway…do I continue? Do I really have something here?! And this last year I have been certified Angel card Reader, a journey that has combined many of my talents and my need to help people heal and grow. A few other ideas has been brewing, but as I don’t have much energy at all (and been depressed too), I have been discouraged and thinking that perhaps it will never amount to anything anyhow…. So this card was soooo amazing to receive! <3 Thank you Universe!!

Yes, strength…I have received this card many times. So my HEAD knows I am strong, but as a very sensitive and emotional person, I FEEL anything else than strong! Especially as I have been on a sick-leave for two years as I mentioned, and not had the strength and energy to do much at all. But perhaps this time has been here to among other things teach me to concentrate on the essentials; to save my energy and time and focus only on what is crucial, so to speak? I know it is easy for me to give to much to others, and if this is what I am going to do professionally, I will HAVE to learn to distribute my time and energy properly – and to learn to set boundaries. But wow, a tough time and lesson it has been!!

Allright! Again a perfect card for me. It talkes about good financial news, success, about wanting to do something more challenging – about a new study and being dependable.
What has dawned upon me more and more this year, is that my calling for helping people achieve abundance is combining my own journey (and challenges!!) with my inherent gifts and longings to help people. I have known for some time now that the cornucopia is the SYMBOL of my life mission, but now it is getting clearer and clearer HOW this will be done practically. My involuntary quiet period and withdrawal from work life, has probably matured in me this path I am to take, and even though it has been slow in coming, I feel that this year (YAY!!!) is the year when I will be returning to "life" again with my new insights and knowledge.

Ooohhh, haha, I laughed when I saw this card!! "Being too frivolous with money" is definately me! A card of extremes also seems to describe me perfectly. I know. I feel this card is a warning, or stating of the obvious, but how it can be a gift? probably by me being AWARE of the pitfalls I am too prone to fall into!?
What new life is being born in your world?
Two of Water
Yes, many cards from the Water suit, here, but this is not surprising as I am a highly emotional person. The gift being born in my life now, is the blessings of relationships! I definately need this. The last year has been very challening for me and my relationships, and forgiveness is an extremely tough subject for me as my wounded emotions are very open and raw, and I can't seem to find any consolation in forgiving. It just doesn't help me! :/
I also feel the card talks about and confirms my relationship with my soulmate; that we will grow even closer, that this is worth staying with, and that certain areas will be healed. This is truly a great gift!

Wow….is this for real??! It always worries me to get this many positive cards…have I attracted these by wishful thinking??! What do you think, Brigit? Is that possible??!
As the card talks about wishes coming true – I guess I am AFRAID to believe this…My life has been so extremely tough the last many years, and EVERY year my husband and I have said to each other "THIS year will be different!! THIS year will bring our breakthrough!!!" But it still hasn't come or been any easier.
My wishes? Firstly to be well again!!! Then to find my lifes calling and to be able to provide my family with a stable financial situation from that….AND to be able to be free from my depression to feel realy JOY in life again!!!
Is this card a promise of just that? Well, it is…but again – can I trust it??!

Well, the key-words on the card sums it up, really; "Sensitive, intuitive, friendly, artistic…". This is me. And probably my gift to my family too!
But the card also talks about heightened psychic awareness, and about a relationship entering a new phase. The last I feel confirms the Two of water card that spoke about my soulmate relationship. And yes, I am working on my psychic abilities, and this will definately help in how I understand and handle my children and loved ones too!
