When we are first learning to read Tarot, we are our best clients! Reading Tarot for yourself helps you practice your new Tarot reading skills and provides you with deep insights at the same time.
But is there a point when you are reading Tarot too much for yourself?
Today’s Ask Brigit question is from Gary and he asks:
“How many times a year should one read a Celtic Cross spread and a three Card spread? I don’t want to seem like I’m bothering the cards.”

thank you soo much for this video. i really appreciate it. i just happened with this situation lately. i did the first spread for her and she asked again. i did a 3 card spread then. then she asked again. that time i told her that she is going to have to believe in what the cards has said. she hasn’t asked since. if she asked again, as you said in a month, then i will do it again. i have this video copied on utube. i am going to get the rest of them.

Wonderful – I am so glad it helped you in setting some boundaries with your client/friend.
Hi Brigit, when I do a reading for other people & they ask a question, oftentimes the cards are talking about something totally different . Is this normal,
It may be a sign that the message is actually for you. What do you notice when you start to pay attention to the personal messages in your readings for others?
Hi, there! Many times when I read my own tarots, I dont even ask a question. I’m just looking for some general direction and insight. I still find I get a lot out of the reading and many times I end with new ideas and perspectives I feel like I never would have gotten if I was being specific. What is your take on this?
If it works for you, then keep doing it! It sounds like you’re getting a lot of valuable insight from the process.
